First, McCarty is dead and Roy Cohn died of AIDS.
We, the "World Organization of Bukovina Jews” were invited to Irma Miko’s 96th birthday party which was held in the Carlton hotel in Tel Aviv. Actually we were the only invitees.
Irma Mico fought the Nazis during the war and none of us had a problem that she in her early years was a Communist, actually it never came up in our conversation.
Although Ms Mico was born in Suceava, her family is from Czernowitz.
