[Cz-L] Before the internet.

Just imagine the Ehpes 70 or more years ago :
 1. Your message to the U.S. takes 10 days from Europe.
     From other places much more. (no jets)
 2. After getting ok-edit it has to be reproduced in
     360 handwritten copies and posted by mail. This could take
     a few more days depending on the number of secretaries
     on the job.
 3. You return posts to all members by mail - see para 1 for time.
       What about stormy oceans , snowed- in rail ?
          If you want to include a picture the procedure complicates.
          How about music ?
       By the time you get your answer ( up to 70 days) you dont remember
what
         it is all about.
             Today we use the internet and the computer as if it
      was always here. It was not.
           We therefore thank God for: the computer , the internet, the list
owner
            and the webmaster who made this miracle come through.
