[Cz-L] Steinbarg's Complete 'Alef Beys' now on Ehpes

Czernowitzers... the subject line says it all (almost).

Not to be deterred by the fact that you could read the whole of
Steinbargs' Yiddish primer on line but couldn't download it, Edgar
Hauster spent the time and energy to take some 149 screenshots (one for
each page of the book), converted each to photo format (jpegs) to reduce
the file size, and reassembled the entire book into five pdf documents.

So, now you can read it, you can download it, you can print it, you can
put it on your e-reader (some of them anyway). This is a copy of the
original 1921 book, page for page, including front and back covers and the
artwork.

Here's where it is: Go to the home page http://czernowitz.ehpes.com ->
Stories... -> item 39. You will see the links to the five parts of the
book.

Of course if it had not been for Iosif Vaisman bringing us his
illustrated excerpt of Steinbarg's "Alef Beys" in the first place, none
of this would have happened. It was this, at:
http://www.ibiblio.org/yiddish/library/elst.html that inspired Edgar and
I to produce the whole book.
