RE: [Cz-L] 1942 with Yellow Magen David

I recognize one of guys on the photo.
The one on the left hand side of the photo is Erdreich; I don't remember
his first name; He was a schoolmate of Zwi Yaavets (Harry Zucker) at the
L.E.G. high school. I met him at a reunion of veteran Czernowitzer students
convened by Zwi Yaavets some 6-7 years ago at the Tel Aviv University. As a
student he was a funny guy, played the violin in the L.E.G. orchestra and
always joking and in good mood.

The 3 gentlemen look familiar to me, must have been 2-3 years older
and wear the Yellow Star less according to law than required. It must be end
of 1942 when the authorities got more lenient because
Stalingrad already happening.

I used to wear the Star like the guy in the middlem and even more covered.
