Hello,
Following my researches I found out about the jobs of my fathers side in Czernowitz :
his grand father (Chaim Retter) has a corks manufacture. On Edgars blog he's listed as Sodawasserfabrik and also as Kaufmann.My grand father, Benno Schafer, was an architect and on the list its also mentionned Stadtbaumeister.
my father, Kurt Schafer, was also an architect and an engineer.
from my mothers side, my grand father Dr Bernhard Strominger was a lawyer, avocat His father Chaim Srul Strominger was a "Tichler" and was also a "Hazan" in one of the synagogue in Suceava. .
My grand mothers father Dawid Fuhrmann, was a "Kaufman" he had a "manufacturen geschaft" and was also a "Gabai" at one of the synagogue in Czernowitz.
My mother learned musique, and was a music teacher in Israel.
