No, it was not the first time that Michel Drucker spoke about his Jewish roots, because when my book was published in France in 2003 (Le Crépuscule des lieux, about the Jewish Identities of Czernowitz), he spoke about it and presented it during his show "Vivement dimanche", a day when Sylvie Vartan was the guest. And he added; "this is a book that is very close to me because it speaks about the town from where my family originated.
I must add that, after that I send him an article about the gravedigger of Moghilev Drucker, telling him that perhaps he was a relative, but I never receive an answer!!!
