Shalom Edgar,
It is so nice to meet in your gallery with Armand Beraru , the restless
photographer and Good Will Ambassador of Haifa to Germany , Rumania and
other countries.
In 1997-98 my son Danny, who worked with pupils at the Beit Ruttenberg
educational center, interviewed and filmed Armand at his home. The interview
was aired at the Local Channel. All our “Rumanians” were pleased. I think it
was Armand Beraru’s first TV –appearance.
Every time I go to a lecture or performance at the Abba Hushi Hall I check
out the last exhibition on “The Armand-Wall” there. There is always
something new to see.
I wish Mr. Armand Beraru many good years of activity.
Irene, Haifa

Czernowitzers and art appreciaters...
I would like to announce that we've introduced two further artists to the
Czernowitz Art Gallery
http://czernowitzgallery.blogspot.com/
The first one is Armand Beraru, who was born 1932 in Czernowitz and came to
Israel in 1964. "Armand Beraru is an industrious and restless artist in the
positive meaning of the word...", as Zvika Yisrael, the Chairman of the
Israel Painters and Sculptors Association mentioned.
Thanks to the Hedwig Brenner and her outstanding data base, we were able to
include Moshe Krinitz (1909 - 1974) as the second "new" artist. I've chosen
for the exhibition one of his drawings, which fits excellent to the flanking
portrait of Eliezer Steinbarg made by Arthur Kolnik.
I'm extremely grateful for all positive and encouraging comments, which
really motivates for further exhibitions. The direct link to the comments is
right here:

Enjoy the impressing art works of "our" Czernowitzers!
