we notice the results of the Bukovina Census per 29.12.1929 as follows:

Vatra-Dornei - 9,878
Storojinet - 8,611
Gura-Humorului - 5,977
Zastawna - 5,038
Cozmeni - 5,015
Cuciurul Mare - 3,014
Solca - 2,825

>From the same newspaper edition (page 3) we learn about ice skating
activities in Czernowitz. In the thirties ice skating stars from Vienna
spent visits to Czernowitz and there were at least two skate rinks
(Volksgarten, Alexandriplatz) in Czernowitz. Does anyone know about a
picture of these skating rinks?
