My Mother always said that her origin (Maiden Name Wolloch) was from a town in Bukovina called Lukavetz (Spelling?) In reading all of everyone's posts and history, I have yet to se mention of that town. Has anyone on the list ever heard of it?
Thank you,
Phil

I'm sorry, I don't know about a listing of the Jewish residents of Sadagora, but the Bukovina Census Data for the years 1869, 1880, 1890, 1900 are available for pdf download here:
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/census/index.html
Check first the town index at the end of the repective volume in order to get the right page. For the years 1880, 1890 and 1900 you'll find a differentiation for each religious community.
Best wishes!
