You are wright, so it was before WW1, in the roumanian time, and in my
youth remains only the middle part, without portrait, in the sovjet time,
it was without inscription,,Who saw it now???
At my single visit to Cz. from Ploiesti, Roumania in 1975, we
(my husband and me) went in a group-trip with bus, for 3 Days to Cz.(through
the Moldova, Suceava, Putna) Only one afternoon we had permission to go
without ghide to the cimetary..once the ghide brought us to the Residence,
and I asked her, if we can go to the Dominik-garden,,,.With a very strong
face she asked in moldavien: "de unde stiti de Domonic"? I ansewered that
we, my husband and I, we are born and lived here..."Nu se poate merge, acolo
e o baza militara"...(where do you know Dominic? there is a military base)
She thought we are spies....
