[Cz-L] Walls have ears.

When our neighbor Mrs. Parola returned from Tashkent after liberation
  with her children but without husband who was a Professor of English
  at the University but died of typhus in Asia Minor , she was a convinced
  communist.
    Or so it seemed .
    In private at home when some criticism was expressed on our
     leader the "Sun of Peoples the leader with the big mustache"
    she would hush us down telling us that " Walls have ears".
      At night I would ponder and wonder how could our walls have ears ?
    Our walls had bedbugs, roaches , spiders, some mice and other vermin
   but ears I never met.
     Well, you could never know.
