A propos the name Engler, ENGLER,(MANIA wife's name; lived in NYC
until passing) family ran an "ICE HOUSE" in Cerenowitz in the area of
Morariengasse and had a brother who lived in Caracas. In Strojinets,
Blanka End (my mother) had cousins named Engler in Israel who owned a
who had owned a "Sherout" service to Czernowitz from that region.

My grandmother Fanny Engler married Samuel Glasberg, I think in about
1900.
I have some Engler cousins in Israel. Some changed their names to Elgar.
I
have more information about the Glasberg side of my family. I suspect
that
Beit Hatfutzot in Ramat Aviv Israel has more data.
