The complimentary expulsions of 1942 came to show us that the Popovici
effect was over.
After removing Traian Popovici , it came to show us that it was the
resolve
of the Rumanian rulers to eradicate the Jewish presence in Bucovina.
Almost a year after Ghetto day, the master plan of eradicating our
existence in Bucovina was still high on the agenda.
But history had its own course.
By August 1942 the Germans reached the Volga near Stalingrad.
What followed changed the minds of the Rumanian military.
It changed the course of history.
