I have just finished a map of Transnitria with most of the ghettos and =
camps
for our Bukovina web. Check it out.
http://tinyurl.com/Transnitria

To days Transnistria is a breakaway territory located mostly on a strip =
of
land between the Dniester River and the eastern Moldovan border to =
Ukraine.
This area has nothing to do with the WWII Transnitria which was annexed =
by
Romania during the war. During the war the area of Transnitria was =
between
the Dniester and the Bug river. East of the Bug river was German =
territory
and very few people came back alive from there.

What do you mean by "The Transnistria of today has nothing to do with =
the
Romanian Transnitria of WWII?". It looks like the same territory, except =
for
the infamous=A0political role it played during=A0 WWII.
