Hi Mimi, hope all is well, and you and yours are having a healthy and sweet Passover. You might recall in previous communications that I have been searching for any sign of my parents, unfortunately to no avail, so far. Since my Mom's maiden name was Wolloch, and you mention the Wolloch family name below, it immediately grabbed my attention. do you think you might be able to forward this e-mail, or put me in touch with them to find out if there is a possible link?
Many thanks,
Regards,
Phil

At least 3 members of our list have deep associations with the Slowackygasse.
During Romanian times named Strada Luta, pronounced Lutza, or str. Filipescu,
in Austrian maps named Petrinogasse.
Jerry Wolf (Josef Eshet) and I both lived there in a house on the left,
which is not visible in the photograph.
Pepi Wolloch, the mother of Sasha Wolloch grew up in the house which is
in the center of this photograph.
>From 1942 till 1945, when I no longer lived on the Slowatzkigasse,
I still visited there almost daily.
When I look at the various maps, including the old ones from before WW1,
the name of this street is nowhere "Slowackigasse".
Yet Slowackigasse it will remain.
