King Carol and Voievod Mihai visit the Hotin fortress .
They overlook the Dniester river, the Eastern border of Greater Rumania.
Soon Rumania lost Bukovina and Bassarabia and also Transylvania.
The dream of Greater Romania was over.
So was the rule of King Carol the operetta king who came out
of "The Merry Widow " with the many marital scandals and expulsions.
The throne went to his son Mihai the last of the Hohenzollern
       for the second time.
He would be the last of the rumanian Hohenzollern.
In December of 1947 Vishinsky the Soviet Foreign Minister
visited
Bucharest and advised Mihai to step down.
      An offer he couldnt refuse.
