"Center for Urban History of East Central Europe", which does research
and teaches among other things, about the Jewish culture and history
of east central Europe, including Czernowitz.
Recent lectures at the center included two lectures by Dr. Vasyl Rasevych,
one named: ³The Jewish Issue² in Contemporary Lviv", the other:
"Emancipation Ensured by Law. The Legal Status of Jews under the
Austro-Hungarian Monarchy".
