Hello Phil,

There was a Mr. Katz, electrician, who moved into my father's office on
Stefaniegasse 2 when the regime changed from Romanian to Soviet and lawyer=

became redundant. That was in summer 1941. I don't remember his first name =
-
only that he was a big man and could do part of his work without a ladder.
He made all the necessary changes in the flat himself. It is reasonable, bu=

not certain that you were born there. Very darkly I remember some talk abou=
t
Mr. Katz's matrimonial or family recent (1941) changes and therefore his
moving to a new flat.

The electrical store on Postgasse, nearby, might have been his, or somebody
else's of the same family , I do not know.
