Yes, I believe that it would be useful to compile the list of the names of
Galician towns from which our parents/ ancestors migrated to Czernowitz a=
s
per Mimi Taylor's suggestion. My own Father, Simon Neuman was raised in
Storozynetz, my mother, Etka Strum was raised in Sniatyn; her mother, Fanny
Zalcman, came from Zaleszcziki or Stanislavow, or both. My maternal
Grandparents remained in Sniatyn until the war, however, my parents lived i=
n
Czernowitz and that's where I was born. My paternal grandmother came to Cz.
from Storozynetz, and was living in Cz. from where she was deported to, and
she died in Transnistria.
