Yes, that thing about putting on a garment on the left side...and then
stepping on it. i got this one from my mother.However,I had an aunt, my
mother's sister, who wore her nightgown as it came - once on the right side,
and once on the left. She was just too lazy to turn it.
So, still quite little, I asked my mother:
"How come nothing bad happens to Anita? She sleeps with her nightgown on the
wrong side!"
My mother had no answer and I suppose this killed the superstition about
"auf der linken Seite!"
