Czernowitzers...

The following has been added to our Website at
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com

1. Lea Haber Gadalia's Family History Album -- lots of very interesting
old photographs of Lea's Scharf and Ellenberg families complete with
four Czernowitz class photos. Many other group pictures too. Let's see
how many folks you can identify for Lea.
>From the Menu -> Content from List Members -> Pages from List Members ->
Lea Haber Gedalia
or directly at: http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/stories/lea/

2. Cornel Fleming passed along this one page leaflet advertising the
Museum of Bukovynian Jewish History and Culture's permanent exhibit.
>From the Menu -> Bukovina Museum of History & Culture -> Leaflet
or, see it directly at:
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/museum/MuseumLeaflet.pdf

3. Stephen Winters sent us three photos including one class photo from
the Hoffman Middle School (1936).
>From the Menu -> Ehpes Photo Collection -> Pre-1946 -> List Members
(last three photos in the Album)
or directly at:
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/czernowitz6/members/production/115-004i1.jpg.html
will get you to the first of the three pictures.

4. Alti Rodal's Kyseliv Monument page has been updated to reflect Edgar
Hauster's latest comments and photos from his trip.
>From the Menu -> Cemeteries, Monuments & Towns... -> Kyseliv
or directly at:
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/czernowitz11/kyseliv/keseliv-borivtsy.html

And finally, a great photograph by Sylvia de Swaan graces our Home page
for a few days longer. The child is her in 1946 I believe. A good reason
to use the Menu once in a while -- you get to see the Home page.

More coming soon,
Best,
jerome
