  This is where Judengasse joins Morariogasse- the Alte Markt.
   In Old times the center of Czernowitz.
     Long before the Ringplatz and Herrengasse.
     2 main roads led out of Czernowitz : Lemberg road down the hill
    and over the Prut to the North and Russian road to the East along
    the Prut and crossing at Novoselitza where there was an early bridge
     to Russia.
