The two people I recognize on this photograph are: Rabbi Menahem
Mendel Glissenstein
and a man named Arlen Gilburd, member of the Jewish community of
Chernivtsi.
(not Dr. Bursuk). I think the occasion must have been the memorial
service to the Jewish people
who were murdered in July 1941. There is an annual memorial service
conducted
at the mass grave in the Jewish cemetery.
