[Cz-L] Visits

In May we had a short but highly interesting visit by Edgar Hauster
before he continued his journey towards Eastern Europe( thank you Edgar,
for your great contributions about this trip. Two days ago we had the
pleasure of meeting Marianne Hirsch and her husband, Leo. Amazing, how
many subjects we approached, and how much we were able to talk about all
sorts of things, such as biographies, families, languages , Czernowitz
of course, and many others. The ties that have arisen through the
marvellous Cz.- list have brought us all nearer.....

The next day Marianne informed us that they had again, become
grand-parents, and that they were travelling on to the brith of their
new grand-son!

In September we expect Hedwig to come to visit Berlin again-and are sure
she will make it.
