Memorial plate for Ukrainean freedom fighters:
"Eternal glory for the Heroes who died in the battle for freedom
 and independence or our fatherland."
On our plate it says that we were held prisoners.
Later our people also died but the plate does not say so.
Ours died of cold and hunger and sickness.
Also shot or stabbed or hacked to pieces.
They did not battle for independence or freedom.
All they wanted was staying alive.
Because staying alive is better than dying , no matter what.
          We will remember them forever.
     Hardy
