Hello Anny,

Dr Max Turtel was a cousin of my father Lazar Turtel(Joseph Turtel Max's
Father was a brother of my grandfather Marcus Turtel). Heidi Singer lives
now in Viena (Mr. Singer is no more with us). When Heidi comes to Israel we
meet for a cup of coffe. Me and Berthold (Dov) Turtel (Heidi's brother) and
wife used to meet till his death. Shabbat Shalom, Asher

Hello Asher,

I knew a family dr. Turtel in Czernowitz. His daughter, Heidi Turtel,
married a man called Singer. They lived in the 40/50 in Vienna and then
somewhere in South America. Dr. Turtel must have been married to someone in
the Peretz Fam. from Cz. for somehow we were related - my grand-mother being
born Peretz.

That's all I know. In Israel, as you know on reshet aleph we have a
programme "Chipus Krovim", I thought it might help.

Shabbat Shalom,

anny

Hello Stephen!

My grandfather's brother Joseph Turtel (also from Cernowitz) was married to
Fanny Gronich. Do you know something more about the Gronich family? Asher
Turtel.
