Hi, Anny & everyone,

>From my RUBINGER family tree I have a portion of this family.  My grandmother's cousin, Beila [Bella] RUBINGER [b. 1883], daughter of Meshulam Srul and Sarah [nee Feldman] married Zelig GOLDSTEIN.  Zelig died in Transnistria in 1944; Beila in Dorna Vatra in 1928.  One of their sons, Solomon GOLDSTEIN, married Jenny I. BURGER. Jenny's daughter, Patricia, was born in Santiago, Chile.

This was all from a cousin of my father's who lived in Israel.  She made a tree and posted it [with a few mistakes] about 25-30 years ago with Beth Hatefutsoth - The Nahum Goldmann Museum of the Jewish Diaspora, P'nina Dromi - Tree # 884.  P'nina, herself, was born in 1912 in the resort town of Dorna Vatra where Solomon GOLDSTEIN and some of his brothers and sisters were born as well.  So, I assume that she grew up with them for a portion of their youth.

Jenny BERGER GOLDSTEIN, if really 93 years old, would have been born about 1918.  Unlikely that her mother, Peppi, was born in 1870s but maybe 1880s.  Or Peppi was 45 years old when she gave birth to Jenny.  Patricia Bella GOLDSTEIN BERMAN was born in the early 1960s so it is the same thing.  Jenny could have been 45 when she gave birth to Patricia or else the ages need adjusting.

I don't really know any more than that.  Do let me know if you and Patricia can verify any more Rubinger family details.

Patricia Bella GOLDSTEIN BERMAN is my 3rd cousin.

Thanks,
Shellie Wiener

Hi Anny,

Burger is a name in my family tree.  Can you tell us more about Peppi
Burger's husband?  My grandfather was born Burger in Sadagora and
changed the spelling to Berger in America.  His family was fairly large
and I have some information on several generations.

Subject: [Cz-L] Fuhrmann family information

Hello to all the members,

Following my researches about my family I have discovered the site Geni,
on which a part of my fathers family has a tree, and I have tried to
type my mothers family name and what a surprise, a family tree is
already open there, so that I have found now another part of my family
living in USA too, so, Maybe the information that I have now can help
others too to find out more.

So, I found the name of my great great grand father (my grandmather's,
Sabina Fuhrmann Strominger, grandfather) he was called Avrum Mehler, he
had three daughters, one was Henye married with Gershon Fuhrmann, she
was born on 1874 and died on 1938 she was my grandmother's mother. One
was Peppi married name Burger and one Marie married name Singer. Peppi
Burger had a daughter who is still alive (93 years old) Jenny Burger
Goldstein and her daughter is called Patricia Goldstein Berman. both
live near Los Angeles.

Does anyone knows about those persons ?

I wish you all shavoua tov, a good week in hebreu

Sincerely, Anny Schäfer Chemla
