Hi Michael,
Between 2002 and 2005, I was in touch with Annie Natalelli-Waloszek with
regards to the Kransdorf family history? Do you know her? She has done
extensive Kransdorf family research in Czernowitz and elsewhere. I'll
send you by private email the last two email addresses I had for her.
Do you know about the LDS library, which holds microfilms of Czernowitz
Jewish vital records from the mid 1800s through the 1930s? A summary of
those records and how to access them can be found here:
http://www.shtetlinks.jewishgen.org/sadgura/ReischToronto.html
On our group website, you'll also find many resources, including links to Cz. city directories
extracted by Edgar Hauster:

Also

I hope these suggestions prove useful.
Best wishes,
Bruce
