[Cz-L] suggested inscription for memorial

Sometime ago I wrote to this list, that I would like the inscription on
a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust in Czernowitz, to be quite
explicit and include facts and numbers.

I have composed a possible inscription, but am not sure that
the numbers I quote are correct. Please suggest other numbers
and changes to the wording of my suggested inscription, below:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
To the memory of the 55 000 Jewish inhabitants of this city,
who on October 11th 1941, at the command of the Romanian
Fascist government of Marshal Ion Antonescu, were imprisoned
in a ghetto on the pain of death.

To the memory of the 35 000 Jewish inhabitants of this city,
deported to Transnistrtia in the years 1941 and 1942.

To the memory of the 15 000 Jewish inhabitants of this city,
Who in Transnistria and on the way there, were brutally murdered,
or allowed to die of hunger, exposure, disease and neglect.

May their suffering be remembered in all eternity.
