Oh, I forgot to write you about Prof.Merdinger:
I don't remember his first name...he made his practice before his studies
in the pharmacy of my uncle, than he went to Italy, studied there chemia,
went to USA and made a phantastique careear,.when he came to Romania in the
70th. he was already "Decan" at an University in California..I remember that
he came to us to Ploiesti, with an officer of the "Securitate"because
he brought to Elena Ceausescu a diploma of DR.Honoris Causa"from his
university, it was shown at the Roumanian Television, and I remember when he
spoke roumanian at this ceremony, he forgot how to say" in viitor" he would
say futur, but arrived only to t, ..He stayed at the Atenee Palace, the most
elegant hotel at that time, he invited us to come , and when we were in his
room and taked about Czernowitz, nothing political, because we knew that
there must be some microphones....After some years, when I was called to the
Securitate, they knew all about we taked... excuse my english...
