By "other side", I meant the part of Czernowitz which was not well to
do,
not designed by architects and usually not shown on postcards and
photographs.
I do not know whether the number of people who lived in modest or
poor quality houses
was greater or smaller than the number of those who lived in
beautiful buildings.
Certainly both sides of Czernowitz existed together.
It is also clear that some buildings, which initially, or a long time
ago, were beautiful,
have been terribly neglected.
