Can anyone please translate the word "functionar"
from Romanian into English?I am trying to help Jeanette Hunter,
who is looking for Czernowitz relatives; father and son,
Jacob and David Glasberg, who owned a brewery in Czernowitz
till 1941.

In the 1937 address book, I found two people by the name
of David Glasberg, the profession of one of them is "functionar".
