With the current water flow of the Prut , soon you won't need bridges at
all.
The next bridge east near the cemetery crosses the Prut at what we
used to call the " Kleiner Prut " little Prut.
I used to go there by Horecea.
The north bank was 4-5 meters high and used for diving.
The water was full of reeds and fish too.
Those hot summers in Czernowitz !!!

There have been only 2 until 1945, destroyed and repaired several
times on nearly the same site.
Later other 3 must have been added on different sites - the one to the
Bazaar
being the next going still to the north, and other 2 after the Prut
takes direction South
crossing the river from West to East approximatively on both sides of
the airport.
That at least is how things look on Google Earth.
Berti.
