Regarding Dina Koenig's biography as found within Zylbercweig's "Lexicon of
the Yiddish Theatre", Volume 6, it would be best for those interested to see
it directly online. As I saved the three pages (in Hebrew fonts, in
Yiddish), I realized that the size of each was rather large and no doubt it
might be rejected by the server of someone's e-mail provider. So rather then
send each rather large page, I am including below the URL address of the
entire Volume 6, so that you may click on the link that should be the first
one listed (Leksikon fun yidishn theater, Vol. 6), and then you can decide
in what form you wish to download the book, e.g. Read Online, PDF, or DiVu.
The biography begins on the actual book page 5200. If you download the PDF
version, you need to search for page 183, which will take you to the actual
book page 5200. This page contains one column of her bio; the next page is
two columns of her biography, and the third is less than a page.

I wish someone would translate it into English, Perhaps since Lia probably
can read Yiddish, perhaps she can do it, if of course she's not too busy and
has the desire to do so. Whomever may translate it, I can proof it and then
post it online within the body of my Lexicon translations.

The link is

it will work for you.

Steven Lasky
