Subject: [Cz-L] Transnistria
[The name of this person? -- you might find it in new dataset just published
today. It's worth a try --j.]
I am trying to find out what happened to a relative who was in the
Transnistria camps. Anyone know if there is a way to do so? I have
tried the ITS, the Holocaust Museum - both answered they have no
information. I tried the Red Cross - never received an answer from
them. Nothing that matched the information I have for this person on
the Yad Vashem site. I did find a reference to this relative on the
Jewishgen Claims Conference, Romania list. I don't know if being on
this list means he lived and put in a claim or if it means he was
eligible to make a claim.
Any assistance would be most appreciated.
Hadassah
