[Cz-L] Knowledge of heart diseases in 1915

The death certificate of Jerome's grandmother, according to Hedwig,
states that death was due to "Herzverfettung", which in English is called
"Fatty heart or Adiposis cardiaca".

To the physicians among members of this list:
Can you judge the state of medicine in Czernowitz in 1915, from the fact
that the cause of death is given in greater detail than just saying "heart
disease"?
