When I was there in May there was evidence of considerable work having
been done to restore the synagogue in Sadagora.

Zoya said that construction was halted due to financial issues and some
concerns with the municipality. She also pointed out that a Hasidic
hotel was to be constructed very close by.

This picture must have been taken prior to the building's renovation. I
think this was actually the synagogue; the Rebbe's residence (the
castle)
was destroyed many years ago. It was located adjacent to the synagogue.
