Netti (Neche) JAWETZ deceased on the 15th of January 1913 in
Czernowitz at age 39 (born 1874).According to her headstone she was
the daughter of Rabbi Yossef Peleg.I am wondering if there is any
descendant of the Jawetz family who was living during the 19th century
in Bukowina especially in the area of Radauti,Siret and Czernowitz who
can help with information about Netti's family.I am assuming that
Netti is most likely related to the Jawetz/Jawitz family from
Radauti. At my knowledge (told by my Netti's daughter,my grandmother)
Netti's parents lived in Putna.Their burials are in the Radauti
cemetery.
I have recently discovered that my gggrandfather's wife was also a
Jawetz,first name Rochel.
