Instead of dealing with the crux of the matter we solve problems like:
Did Schellhorn like horses ,was he good doctor or good Nazi etc.?

On the 14 Oct 1941 Marshal Antonescu phoned Calotescu ordering him
to exempt 20000 Jews from deportation, contravening his previous decree.
Why did this happen ?
What made him change his mind ?
Here lies the answer to our question.
If money was involved ? I wouldnt wonder - this was Rumania.
We somehow got our permit without bribing.
We were short of cash, as usual.
Neither were we essential to the war effort.
