Thanks to Andy for the link to Transnistrian Time Slip, an
online piece in today's NY Times..
     Although I realize the feature's focus is recognition of
Transnistria's independence, as a journalist it is incomprehensive
to me - not to mention extremely bad reporting - to include
any history of that area without including reference to its
infamous concentration camp in the 1940s where
wholesale murder of Jews as well as other atrocities occurred.
     Unfortunately, some of the media need reminding.
