The following announcement was posted to the Mendele list.
Boris Sandler spoke at the IAYC San Diego conference a few years ago and
spoke (completely in Yiddish) about Czernowitz, but I haven't put it on my
site. Maybe I will at some point.
Here is the announcement:

Subject: Boris Sandler in Boston Area
Sunday April 22, 2012 3 p.m.

Boris Sandler, well known Yiddish writer and editor of the Yiddish
Forverts, will present his new book of short stories in Russian
translation and his short documentary film "Chernivtsy Jews." He will
speak in Russian and Yiddish.

Center "Makor"(Synagogue B'nai Moshe)

1845 Commonwealth Ave. Brighton, MA

Admission free.
