Thank you for posting the information about the new book on the US and
the blocked rescue of children from Transnistria. Marianne and I have
just ordered it.

There are two older but extremely interesting works about the US and the
rescue of European Jews that some of you may want to look at. The
first, a documentary film made for PBS is called "America and the
Holocaust." It is still available [at]
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/holocaust/ The other is
a book by Arthur D. Morse titled "While Six Million Died: A Chronicle of
American Apathy.
