Shalom!
When we were deported to Transnistria I was about 11-12 year old, and we
were taken out of home way before the Czernowitzer and never heard of
the famous singer Joseph Schmidt, and so of course never heard him sing.
But yesterday Jan. 25, My wife and I had the pleasure not only to
listen but to see what he locked like.
I very often read, that the Czernowitzer are so proud of him, so I think
that they will be happy to hear, that at the end of the movie, there was
a tremendous applauds .
There were a substantial amount of younger people that were exited to.
The only think they didn't mention, that he was a Czernowitzer.
Here is a link to the poster for the showing of the movie.
I know my English is't the Kings English but I hope you'll get the gist
of the story.
