we learn, that 18 wrestlers from a dozen of countries (Bulgaria, Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Romania, Austria, Ukraine, France, Palestine) are going to wrestle for a golden cup and - more important - for 250,000 Lei. Eighteen wrestlers with a total weight of more than two tons, as we notice from the preannouncement for the fight

the most prominent wrestler among them being apprently the Estonian wrestler Jaan Jaago (1887-1949), the 7-times professional wrestling world champion. He is still a hero in Estonia, the EESTI POST released a special issue stamp a few days ago (see blog). Is one of the medals shown off by Jaan Jaago perhaps from Czernowitz?
