Re: [Cz-L] Information about Cz schools

Hi Asher. I am very much intterested in learning about my Dad's early
education in Czernowitz. My father, Charles (Karl) Steinhauser, his
3 younger siblings and their parents, Marcus and Gussie Steinhauser,
sailed to America around 1908-1909 when he was between l0 and 12
and I remember him saying that his Czernowitz education had more
 than adequately prepared him for the NewYork City schools and he
started medical school at age 17.
 
Asher, do you have a website for those school records, or
some directory with records that I can check - perhaps Jerome
can help us both. I will be grateful for any help you can
give me and look forward to hearing from you.
