And yet another lurker comes out of the shadows.=20

My paternal grandfather=2C who died in France just after WW2 started=2C and=
who never saw me=2C as a teenage=2C left the family home under circumstanc=
es till unknown=2C and traveled across Europe from Czernowitz=2C ending up=
in Paris. He first worked as a dishwasher next to one of the large train s=
tations .... eventually he became a respected businessman (schmatas distric=
t) rue de Turenne. His father who lived in Czernowitz (apparently)=2C never=
went west & would therefore have died there=2C but I have never seen any e=
vidence that he is buried there or in the surrounding graveyards where they=
 have done a census. Strange.

Much of my family came from various other parts of Bukovina=2C especially R=
adautz & Suceava. I have been to those places 3 times looking for informat=
ion about my family=2C with limited success.

I'm still interested in the family tree=2C but have not done much research =
in the last few years.

Best of luck to all in their searchings.

They come in =2C one by one=2C

And the congregation sings :" Halleluya".
