Ruth Hi! I am interested...as far as I knew there were very few cases of
bribery etc. Do you have any evidence of what happened??? The story I heard
was that there were not enough Pop. Permits for the people who should have

All the Jews, who were not "specialists" and not indispensable to the city's
infrastructure and still obtained a permit to stay, bribed the screening
commission members to be put on the Popovici list. Obviously, this was the
advantage of the rich.
Unfortunately, my parents did not have the money needed for said bribe.
