[Cz-L] My Tante's engagement.

  In the winter of 1939 my aunt got engaged.
   Maybe it was 1938, in December.
   The party was in a Schenk somewhere on the way to Rosch.
   The entire family was going.
     Tranport was by horse driven sledges with torches for festive
illumination.
    We arrived and met family we havent seen for long.
      And people we didnt know from the groom's.
      There were klezmers playing happy tunes.
        There was wine from the barrel and roasted chicken .
         There were also tarts and sweets more than we have ever seen .
           Big soda ballons for the making of the Spritz.
            By midnight we went home half asleep
              Of the engagement nothing came out.
              My aunt married another man soon after.
                No party only registrar.
