Hi Yitzhak....I have a very tenuous connection. If you look at my family
photos you will come to one of my grandfather in the woods of
Russmoldowitza! He was in the timber trade, and the photo seems to be with
woodcutters. Best,Cornel

Subject: [Cz-L] Anybody connected to Moldovitza?
I am looking for former residents of Moldovitza (Suceava County)
or/and their descendants with the intention to organize the
maintenance of the Jewish Cemetery there. According to what I know
from my last visit 4 years ago, the cemetery is in a bad condition,
difficult to access and some graves need repair.
I intend to visit the place during June, for gathering detailed
information on the present situation. I also will contact local
authorities and the leader(s) of the Jewish Community of Suceava
County in order to be able to elaborate a program for this project –
work to be done and financial needs.
Both my grandmothers are buried there, but of course this is not a
project I can perform alone. I appeal to all of you who are interested
in the cleaning and maintaining of this cemetery to contact me at
rosnery_at_gmail.com
N.B Moldovitza ( RussMoldovitza) is a village ~70km SW of Czernowitz,
now in Romania. Before WW2 Jewish population there was ~500, now=0
