RE: [Cz-L] Military and other records

Just a slight disclaimer - I asked a Russian colleague in Moscow to try it
out for me today (I am looking for an uncle of mine who fell in the Battle
at the gates of Berlin on May 1st 1945) and she returned saying that she
tried but it seemed an old site and she got no results. This does not mean
it shouldn't be tried by others. She is going to approach a more up-to-date
memorial organization in Moscow, and if she finds a good and promising link
I will advise you.

Good site, but I don't read or speak Russian. I tried with the assistance

Drafted in Chernovitz around 1941 during that period. They were young men,
so I'd assume a birth year of about 1920?

That's just a guess. Reall appreciate any assist. Thanks for the advice.
